We are pleased to present the July 2026 construction progress update for DoubleTree by Hilton Residences, Jumeirah Garden City. This month marks a significant phase in the project's development as we transition from enabling works into active substructure construction — a milestone that signals the beginning of the building's physical form taking shape beneath the surface.
Since commencement, the project has advanced with precision and discipline. Piling works are substantially complete, bulk excavation has been finalised across the full development footprint, and our tower crane is now operational — preparing the site for vertical construction in the months ahead. We are proud to report zero recordable safety incidents since project inception, reflecting our unwavering commitment to international construction standards.

Deep-foundation load-bearing capacity has been established across the entire building footprint, providing the structural base for all vertical construction.
Bulk Excavation to Formation
The site has been excavated to the design formation level across the full development
footprint, enabling systematic foundation construction.
Trim Excavation & Pile-Head Cutting
All zones have been prepared, and pile heads have been trimmed to specification,
ready for pile-cap and tie-beam construction.

Current Construction Activities
Current construction activities include blinding concrete works at 75% completion, pile-cap blockwork, shuttering and setting-out, tie-beam reinforcement, foundation preparation for waterproofing, and ongoing lift-pit reinforcement, dewatering, and site preparation for upcoming foundation works.

As the substructure phase concludes, the site will be prepared for superstructure construction - at which point the building will begin to rise above ground level.
